Grade 11 Assembly

Today was our grade 11 assembly in which we the students have organized the whole assembly. It was a task given to us, so as to perform our skills in our fields, which comes under Action and Creativity section of CAS.

Initially we have decided "Independence Day" as a subject of our assembly. Then we choose students according to their skills to do specific tasks like anchoring, presentation, music, news reading etc. Accordingly, we practiced yesterday of all the programs which we did today.

At last the day arrived, we begun our assembly with our school anthem, proceeded by an introductory speech. After which the boys showed the presentation on Independence Day occasion and spoken quotes of each freedom fighter as displayed on the screen. Then I played a patriotic song "Sare Jaha Se Accha" on the guitar. Then the students updated the audience about international, national and sports news. I once again was called upon to perform a song Doori, which I played on my guitar as well as sang it. After my performance their was another musical performance by two students who presented their self-composed songs. Into the final stages of the assembly we sang the National Anthem and gave a successful end to our assembly by thanking everybody for their presence and co-operation.

It was in a way a good platform to display our talents, skills and creativity. Thanking all our teachers and supporters for making this event successful.
